Price includes:

  • Qualified local guide speaking fluent English
  • All lodging in 3-star hotels
  • All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea/coffee)
  • All entrance fees
  • All transportation in minivans
  • Driver
  • Bhutan visa and Tourism Development Fund (TDF) fee

Price does not include:

  • International and domestic flights
  • Tips for guide and driver
  • Tips for restaurant service
  • Donations at monasteries
  • Personal expenses (Internet, drinks, shopping, etc.)

Budget for extras:

  • $15-20/person/day for tips for the guide
  • $10/person/day for tips for the driver
  • $20/person for donations to monasteries

Discounts

  • Low Season: There is a discount of $25/person/day during low season: July-August
  • Children: There is no charge for children aged 5 and younger. Children aged 6 through 12 get a 50% discount when accompanied by an adult.
  • Students: Full-time students under the age of 20 get a 15% discount if they have a valid identity card from their academic institution.
