Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in the Chamonix Valley
Visiting: Geneva, Switzerland to Chamonix, France
Transfer on your own to Chamonix. Check-in to your hotel upon arrival in Chamonix.
Meet your guide and trekking group at the guide’s office in downtown Chamonix at 6pm for a pre-trip briefing.
Overnight at the Hotel de l’Arve (our recommendation) or similar in Chamonix. Other hotel options available.

Day 2 : Hike above Chamonix
Visiting: France
Hike from the summit of the Brevent toward Bellachat. Today you'll have great views on the Mont Blanc Massif. A short transfer will bring the group to Les Houches.

Day 3 : Hike to the Val Montjoie
Visiting: France
The day starts by taking a lift with panoramic views of the Mont Blanc, the Aiguilles Rouge and the Aravis massifs. The hike crosses the Bionnassay stream and heads down to Les Contamines in the Val Montjoie.

Day 4 : Hike in the Beaufortin
Visiting: France
The hike heads to the Col du Bonhomme and leaves the Val Montjoie for the Beaufortin. On the descent you'll discover a summer hamlet and pasture.

Day 5 : Hike to the Val Veny
Visiting: France / Italy
In addition to hiking you can discover a cheese factory that produces the regional specialty: Beaufort! You'll reach the Italian border at the Col de la Seigne and head to the Elisabetta mountain hut.

Day 6 : Hike in the Aosta Valley
Visiting: Italy
After a descent to the Lac Combal the hike heads up to Arp Vieille and a balcony trail with views fo the Noire de Peuterey, the Dent du Géant, and the Grandes Jorasses. Descend to the village of Courmayeur for the night.

Day 7 : Hike in the Italian Val Ferret
Visiting: Italy
Today's hike is on a magnificent balcony trail in the Italian Val Ferret.

Day 8 : Hike in the Swiss Val Ferret
Visiting: Italy / Switzerland
A hike over a mountain pass lead's to Switzerland and views of the Mont Dolent and the A Neuve.

Day 9 : Trient Valley
Visiting: Switzerland
The hike to the summer pasture of Bovine leads to great views of the Rhône Valley and the Bernese Oberland. The hike ends at the Col de la Forclaz after passing near the Trient glacier.

Day 10 : Hike to Trelechamp
Visiting: Switzerland / France
Today you'll cross back into France and again have great views of the Mont Blanc. Overnight will be in the small hamlet of Trelechamp.

Day 11 : Hike above Chamonix to La Flégère
Visiting: France
The last day of the Tour du Mont Blanc will take you by the Chéserys lakes that often reflect the surrounding peaks (see the photo above!). The trek ends at La Flégère and a return to Chamonix in the afternoon.
