Europe trek
Overview
This alpine trek travels over mountain passes, through eight valleys of the Swiss Wallis / Valais region, using trails and rugged terrain, with landscapes varying from lush green alpine pastures to jagged rocky landscapes. Each day several 4000 meter peaks come into view: Grand Combin, Dent Blanche, Zinalrothorn, Weisshorn, the Matterhorn...
This shorter version of the Haute Route hiking trek allows for increased flexibility for clients who wish to explore areas around Chamonix or Zermatt before or after the trek.
We work with established local guides in Chamonix to provide the best value and quality of guiding possible. Your guide will be a licensed French trekking guide (known as an “accompagnateur de montagne” or mountain leader) from the Chamonix area and your group will be a combination of hikers of different nationalities.
