Description: Refurbished convent and Inca site. Has one of the best restaurants in Cusco. Gorgeous courtyard with numerous fire pits. Hotel is historic and part of it is a museum where guests can see Inca sites that create the foundation of the building.
Rooms: quiet, lavish, extremely comfortable and spacious. all rooms have the option to pump oxygen into them if needed for passengers having extreme difficulty with the altitude (extra cost).
Meals/Dining: breakfast buffet included. Lunch and dinner served in the restaurant. Bar also available.
Family Description: children under 12 stay for free. family rooms available.

Cons:
Advice: part of Marriott chain which might sit poorly with people from the US. Call the hotel El Convento instead- guests would NEVER think that this place is a Marriott- it is beautiful and unique and an excellent price for the quality.
