Day 1 : Fly to Serengeti, transfer to lodge, afternoon game drive

Visiting: Serengeti

Depart Arusha at 10:15am for your flight to Serengeti (Seronera airstrip), arriving at 12:15pm, and transfer to the lodge/camp with afternoon game drive and lunch en route.

Arguably Africa's greatest national park, the Serengeti (meaning "endless plains") is a massive park and home to a yearly migration of more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomsons gazelle undertaking their long trek to new grazing grounds. In return, a wealth of predators including lions, leopards, cheetah and hyena also inhabit the region.

From December through March, Halisi Camp moves to Ndutu. Extra park fees apply: add US$200/person for Halisi for 3-day fly-in safaris over that time.

Day 2 : Full day game drive in Serengeti

Full day game drive in Serengeti in search of the Great Migration with picnic lunch.

Day 3 : Early morning game drive, departure flight

Visiting: Serengeti

Early morning game drive, transfer to Seronera airstrip, departing at 10:45am, returning to Arusha at 11:45am. This gives you time and the option (at extra cost) to fly to Zanzibar as well. Youcan also take an early afternoon flight, just add US$75/per person to cover the extra park fees.
