Day 1 : Drive to Lake Manyara or Tarangire for afternoon game drive

Visiting: Lake Manyara or Tarangire

Drive 3-4 hours from Moshi to Lake Manyara (November-May) or Tarangire (June-October) with lunch en route and afternoon game drive in park.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its massive elephant herds, healthy lion prides, and evocative baobab trees plus other Africa classics like zebra, giraffes, impala and kudu. Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem famous for its forest elephants, hippos, tree-climbing lions, blue monkeys. It also hosts nearly 400 species of birds, including colorful cranes, storks, pelicans, fish eagles, and thousands of flamingos.

Day 2 : Drive to Serengeti, afternoon game drive

Visiting: Serengeti

Drive 3-4 hours to the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive en route to your lodge or camp for the evening.

Arguably Africa's greatest national park, the Serengeti (meaning "endless plains") is a massive park and home to a yearly migration of more than a million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle undertaking their long trek to new grazing grounds. In return, a wealth of predators including lions, leopards, cheetah and hyena also inhabit the region.

Day 3 : Serengeti Game Drive

Visiting: Serengeti

Full day game drive in Serengeti with picnic lunch out in the bush or break it up into a morning and afternoon game drive, allowing for a relaxing siesta in the afternoon at camp.

Drive Serengeti to Ngorongoro with game drive en route. Optional visits to the Olduvai Gorge and Maasai village.

Day 5 : Ngorongoro Game Drive

Visiting: Ngorongoro

Today, drive approximately 30-60 minutes to the Ngorongoro Crater, where we'll experience the crater on a half-day game drive. The spectacular Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest caldera measuring 600 meters in depth and covering 250 square kilometers in area. Large bull elephants and the endangered black rhino roam the grasslands along with grazing herds of zebra, impala and wildebeest. We'll picnic along one of the lagoons, where we often see game and a host of attractive wetland birds. After the game drive, we return to your lodge in time for the African sunset and dinner.

In the afternoon, return to your choice of Moshi, Arusha, or the Kilimanjaro Airport via Mto Wa Mbu.
