Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport, transfer to Arusha
Visiting: Arusha, Tanzania
After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative, who will transfer you to your accommodations this evening, the Lake Duluti Lodge near Arusha.
If you have time, you can enjoy a guided scenic walk around the lake or a guided village tour.
Renowned as the safari capital of Tanzania, Arusha is tucked beneath the towering peaks of Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro. The town has numerous first-class restaurants, bars and markets to browse, and is the ideal place to spend a few days before embarking on a safari. Spend the night in a chalet at the Lake Duluti Lodge, a charming countryside retreat overlooking the picturesque waters of Lake Duluti.

Day 2 : Fly to Lake Manyara, afternoon safari activities
Visiting: Lake Manyara
You will be driven to Arusha Airport, where you will board a flight to Manyara Airstrip. Enjoy your first game drive en route from the airstrip to the lodge.
The diverse habitats of Lake Manyara National Park range from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. The park is famous for it unusual tree-climbing lions and vast elephant herds. The shores of the lake, home to renowned numbers of pink flamingo, also attract more than 400 others species of birds as well. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. The park also features a ground-water forest, acacia woodland and the Maji Moto hot springs. Relax for two nights in a unique luxury treehouse at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.

Day 3 : Lake Manyara, full-day safari activities

Day 4 : Fly to the Serengeti, afternoon safari activities
Visiting: Serengeti
This morning, transfer to the nearby airstrip for your flight to Grumeti, Klein’s, or Serengeti Under Canvas Airstrip.
The Serengeti National Park is one of the world's most celebrated wilderness areas. Tanzania's oldest game reserve, it is renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration of two million antelope. This epic, seasonal journey is a deeply moving experience.
Indulge in two nights at your choice of the following:
- A thatched stone cottage at Klein’s Camp. Your stay is on a full board basis, including special concession fees and scheduled adventures such as game drives (including night drives) and nature walks.
- An uber-luxury tent at the permanent Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp, one of the finest camps in all of Africa. Your stay is on a full board basis, including twice-daily game drives and park fees.

Day 5 : Serengeti, full-day safari activities

Day 6 : Fly to Manyara, transfer to Ngorongoro, afternoon with optional activities
Visiting: Ngorongoro Crater
Your return flight to Manyara is waiting at the airstrip. A member of the lodge staff will be waiting to drive you to your accommodations tonight.
A unique safari destination, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to more than 30 000 protected animals. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in existence. Nearly three million years old, it shelters one of the world's most beautiful wildlife havens. Black rhino are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, black-maned lion stalk the grasslands and flamingo crowd the soda lakes.

Day 7 : Ngorongoro Crater game drive

Half day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 8 : Fly to Arusha, day room, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport
Visiting: Arusha
Return to Manyara Airstrip, where you will board a short flight to Arusha Airport. A member of the Arusha office staff will be waiting to drive you to the Arusha Hotel where you will be able store any luggage and freshen up ahead of beginning your journey home. A transfer will be arranged to take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your safari with us will end.
Alternatively, extend your trip. Among the top choices are a short extension to trek the gorillas in Rwanda, a short beach stay on Zanzibar, or add to your safari through overnights at Lake Eyasi or in the south part of the country in Selous or Ruaha National Parks.
