General Itinerary
Your day will start after breakfast. Activities for the day are described below. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the hotel or campsite. A box lunch is also provided daily to be eaten at a designated lunch spot in the parks. The national parks close at 18:00pm, so all game drives are completed by that time.
NOTE: We can arrange lodging before and after your safari in Arusha or Moshi for an additional cost.
Safari Options
Night Game Drive:
- Lake Manyara with bush dinner: $175/person
- Moivaro Ikoma Bush Camp: $40/person
Culture:
- Visit a Maasai village near Lake Manyara or between Ngorongoro and Serengeti.
- Visit the Shalom Orphanage in Karatu.
- Cultural Tour/Hike in Karatu area: Visit elephant caves, see waterfalls, birds, local native tribes (Iraqw), local market, and orphanage

Hiking:
- Hiking or mountain biking near Lake Manyara ($35/person + tips)
- Drive to Olmoti Crater (Munge Waterfalls) for afternoon hiking (2 hour drive one-way) -- closest from Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
- Drive to Empakai Crater for afternoon hiking (3-hour drive one-way)
Between the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater:
- Olduvai Gorge (no charge)
Between Arusha and Lake Manyara:
- Snake Park, Maasai Cultural Center, and camel rides (extra charge)
Options in the Serengeti:
- Hot air balloon rides
- Fly from the Serengeti to the Kilimanjaro, Arusha, or Zanzibar Airport are available.
Canoeing:
- Momella Lake at Arusha National Park ($65/person + $20/person park fees)
- Lake Manyara ($75/person)
