An annular eclipse<\/strong> is when the moon passes in front of the sun and leaves a “ring of fire.” Slightly different from a total eclipse where the moon completely covers the sun, an annular eclipse is when the moon is further from earth, so it doesn’t completely black it out but leaves a little light around it.<\/p>\n
