Belize Getting There
Flights
The international airport is the Philip S.W. Goldson Airport in Belize City (BZE).
There is also a domestic airport in Belize City called the Sir Barry Bowen Municipal Airport or Belize City Municipal Airport (TZA).
Internal flights are offered by Maya Island Air and Tropic Air. They have daily flights to popular destinations such as Placencia, San Pedro (Ambergris Caye), Caye Caulker, and Punta Gorda.
Ambergris Caye
The airport on Ambergris Caye is in San Pedro (SPR). It is a 20 minute flight from Belize City.
You can also take a water taxi to Ambergris, but it will take about 2.5 hours including getting there and checking in, and the water can be rough.

- American Airlines flies from Miami, Dallas, and Charlotte
- Delta Airlines connects through Atlanta
- Alaska Airlines from Los Angeles and Seattle
- Southwest Airlines flights from Houston and Denver
- Spirit Airlines service from Fort Lauderdale
Canada:
- Air Canada offers direct flights from Toronto and Montreal to Belize during high season from November to April.
- WestJet offers flights from Toronto and Calgary
Latin America:
- Copa Airlines offers flights from Panama City
- Tag Airlines connects Belize directly to Guatemala City
- Tropic Air connects Belize to Mexico, El Salvador, and Honduras
