Tipping Recommendations

While not mandatory, they are very welcome. In restaurants it is normal to leave 10% of the total bill. At the end of the expedition, service providers willingly receive a tip.

These guidelines are just suggestions — tipping is subject to service received.

• Restaurants: 10-15% of bill
• Hotel Bell Boys: $1.50/person/day
• Drivers: $2-4/person/day
• Tour Guides: $5-10/person/day
