Entry Requirements
- Your passport must be valid 3 months beyond intended stay.
- You must have tickets and documents for return or onward travel.
- We recommend at least 2 blank pages in your passport per country visited.
Visiting Iguazu Falls
You can visit Iguazu Falls from both Argentina and Brazil. U.S. passport holders need a visa ($160) to enter Brazil, and they are NOT available at the border. EU passport holders do not need a visa to enter Brazil.
There may be lines on either side of the border, depending on the time of the day and holidays.
Also check regarding immunization requirements. Australian residents, for example, require yellow fever shots if returning to Australia within 6 days following a visit to Brazil.
