Day 1: Arrival in Sao Paulo

Arrival in Sao Paulo and private transfer to the hotel. Free night.

Day 2: Sao Paulo Walking Tour (B)

Get the feel of loacl life in Sao Paulo today on this unqiue city tour! After breakfast, take off from your hotel with your private guide on a walking tour in Sao Paulo (6-7 hours), visiting the main points in the city. During this tour local bus and metro will be used for guests to get a glimpse of the true Paulista lifestyle!

Day 3: Transfer to Paraty & Paraty Walking Tour (B)

After breakfast private transfer to Paraty (4h - 5h). Arrival in Paraty, check in to hotel. In the afternoon, your guide will meet you at your hotel and take you on an exciting historical and cultural tour of the quaint coastal village of Paraty (2h - 3h).

Day 4: Ocean Kayaking or SUP (B)

Breakfast and depart for a Stand Up Paddle or Sea Kayaking in the protected Paraty Bay! Explore hidden beaches, paddle through Mangrove tunnels and discover ancient private coves! Afternoon at leisure to explore on your own. Overnight in Paraty.
Stand Up Paddle (2 - 3 hours): The protected flat waters of Paraty's bay have perfect Stand up Paddling conditions. After the safety instructions at Jabaquara beach, just outside the old town, we paddle around, visiting a mangrove area, and Itu Beach. Water is included.
Sea Kayaking Bay (3 - 4 hours): If you want to get closer to the nature without the noise of a motor boat this is a great option to see wildlife and visit places like the mangroves, islands ans beaches nearby. The views of the old town and the coastal mountain range behind Paraty are spectacular. There are various options of routes! No previous experience is required. We give paddling and safety instructions for sea kayaks.

Day 5: Mamangua Sugar Loaf Peak (B)

Breakfast. Private transfer to Paraty Mirim and then a boat to Saco do Mamangua. Hike up Mamangua Sugarloaf Peak (500m). On the way back, stop for lunch (not included) in a restaurant in the Bay of Paraty and swim at islands and beaches. Overnight in Paraty.
Saco do Mamangua: Located on the nearby Joatinga Peninsular Eco-reserve, Brazil's only tropical fjord, the Saco do Mamangua, is a unique marine ecosystem and tropical paradise.

Day 6: Transfer from Paraty to Rio de Janeiro (B)

Private transfer to Rio de Janeiro (4h - 5h), arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Evening at leisure.

Day 7: Corcovado, Santa Teresa and Morrinho Project (B)

Breakfast and transfer to the Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain. Afterwards depart to visit Santa Teresa neighborhood. Lunch (not included) and then visit Morrinho Project on our way back. Return to the hotel late afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Christ the Redeemer: Located at Corcovado Mountain (710 meters), with a height of 38m. The most important symbol of Rio de Janeiro, this monument is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. From there you can have a panoramic view of the city.
Santa Teresa (not recommended on Mondays): Located in an old neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, Santa Teresa is a very charming place in Rio where lots of local artists living and exhibiting there.
Morrinho Project: The Morrinho Project is a social and cultural project based outside the Pereira da Silva favela (slum) in the Southern Zone of Rio de Janeiro. A Model of 450sqm made of bricks and other recycled materials. With the aim of showing that favela life is multi-dimensional, and endeavors to communicate their own reality through film, plastic arts, theater, and music.
This tour is available from Tuesdays to Thursdays, and on Sundays (10:00 to 18:30). Morrinho Website: www.morrinhorg.com
Note: To get to the project, part of the path is made walking on uneven ground, besides having to go up and down several steps. Wear comfortable shoes.

Day 8: Sugar Loaf (B)

After breakfast, free morning and departure to visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Evening at leisure.
Sugar Loaf (396m): Trademark of Rio de Janeiro, the Sugar Loaf Mountain has a privileged location in the city. In the first part of the cable-car ride you can see the entire Guanabara Bay, Corcovado and Rio-Niteroi Bridge. In the second part of the cable-car ride you can see, in a unique perspective, the beach of Copacabana, Santa Cruz Fortress and some beaches of Niteroi in fantastic scenery!
