1-Day Machu Picchu via Vistadome Train
Travel by train to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of the famous citadel. Time to explore the ruins on your own and to wander the town of Aguas Calientes. Return to Cusco early evening.

Budget day tour with the Expedition train, starting at US$410 per person
Full services day tour with the Vistadome train, starting at US$595 per person

Full Itinerary
Day 1: 1-DAY MACHU PICCHU / One day train trip to Machu Picchu (BL)

The budget option includes only the train tickets and the shuttle, entance and guided tour of Machu Picchu (tour in a group). No transfers, no lunch.
The full service option includes transfers and lunch. You will be picked up at your hotel in Cusco and transferred to the train station for the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu. At the train station in Aguas Calientes, you will meet your guide and take the shuttle to Machu Picchu. After a morning guided tour of this awesome ruins, you have the option to hike to Intipunku (sun gate) (no ticket required). Lunch at Sanctuary Lodge is included. Return to Aguas Calientes for exploring the town's hot springs baths or outdoor market. Late afternoon return to Cusco or Ollantaytambo on the Vistadome train. Transfer back to your hotel. Note for a climb of Huayna Picchu: You will need to get the early morning train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu, in order to get the tour and climb in on the same morning. Ticket to climb is not included in the price. Must be ordered 60 days in advance.
