Description:

This is a lovely tented camp in a great area on the north end of Tarangire National Park. It is definitely the best value inside the park. It is our favorite mid-priced tented camp inside Tarangire.

Rooms:

There are 37 tents with double or twin + 3 bungalows which can be triple. They are perched on a ridge overlooking a river where animals come to drink.

Meals/Dining:

Breakfast is buffet with some hot foods ordered. Dinner changes nightly (squash soup, choice of 3 entrees, salad, and buffet of 3 desserts)

Grounds:

There are lots of really huge baobab trees, awesome views over river with animals, and even some vervet monkeys wandering about.

Amenities:

Outside the lounge is a large patio overlooking the park, which is great for sunset and sunrise. They offer free savories at sunset on patio (homemade potato chips, tortilla chips and salsa, popcorn) along with a cash bar. There is a bonfire at night.
