Our trip was amazing! The trip exceeded my expectations and more and would recommend Adventures within Reach without any reservations. I cannot think of anything that needs improvement everything went smoothly. Highlights from the trip would just be the sheer beauty and stunning views of the mountains. Every day the view changed which made the hiking such a reward. The rifugios were another highlight as it was great spending the nights on the mountain and meeting other hikers. Stopping for lunch allowed you to relax and take in the beauty. The AWR TEAM was professional and extremely helpful. Note about our guide Karin Pizzinini: Karin was just the BEST!!!! Patient, knowledgeable and upbeat 🙂 Everyday she taught me something new and was encouraging!!! It was nice to be able to share the experiences with her at dinner and lunch while we were on the mountain. I was privileged to have such a wonderful guide and would give her a 10 as a recommendation!!! My advice for future travelers would be to keep fit and try and build up your aerobic endurance. Be prepared for weather changes and take layers. Poles helped immensely- and of course hiking boots. Definitely bring bars and snacks for the hike and sunscreen. Only hope I can hike more of the Dolomites in the future.

Awesome trip!!! I want to go back again! Highlights from the trip were the hike itself and the refugios. The AWR team was great as always! We enjoyed longer days before and after the trek exploring Cortina. The climbing was awesome for my son!

I am extremely likely to recommend AWR. Everything went very well. Only unknown was weather as Dolomiti weather forecasts were all over the place. Your last email with current weather reports from recent/ongoing trips was very helpful and reassuring. Our guide, Karin, was fantastic!!!! Hotel Bello Seppe was also wonderful!! The hiking route was beyond our expectations….incredible. The huts should not be referred to as huts but lovely mountain/alpine lodges! Your team-Robin- and those involved in Italy from Dolomitemountain and the staff at Hotel Bello Seppe were absolutely first rate. Highly recommend AWR and their partners in Italy. The Alta Via trek is breathtaking. We loved our guide and the knowledge and local flavor she brought to the trip. Definitely would recommend Karin ( or comparable guide). Thanks Robin for a memorable trip.

AWR’s attention to detail was fabulous. Great lodging. We had so many favorite memories. All end points were different. Our daily expectations were unknown which was great in own way. From coastal resort towns, small villages and larger port city of Vigo. Each place was unique and representative of its culture. My favorite was the final day’s journey crescendo into St James Square. Many pilgrims, their individual achievements and unique celebrations while being one of them was truly special. Meeting pilgrims along the WAY and getting to know them was personally fruitful. Overall we had a fabulous time and wish we were still there. Thanks again for all your support before during and after our trip. Next trip, the Dolomites in 2020!
