To get there, you can take a flight from Lima, a private car or the tourist bus. While in the area of Pisco, you will be able to visit the Paracas National Preserve and take a boat tour of the Ballestas Isles.
We recommend a 3-day/2-night itinerary to see everything. A day trip for the Nazca Lines is also possible.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Tourist bus from Lima to Paracas; overnight Paracas.
Leave Lima at noon by bus or van; ride to Paracas by way of lush valleys that cut through the desert. Check in at your hotel. Overnight Paracas.

Mid-Range Accommodations: Hotel Emancipador or similar in Paracas
Day 2: Morning Nazca Lines overflight (in a group); afternoon tour of Paracas National Reserve (group); overnight Paracas (B)
Transfer to the Ica airport for your morning flight over the Nazca lines, an archeological wonder of lines and drawings in the rocky plains. Drive to Paracas and to the National Reserve of Paracas, a protected marine area with birds and historic sites. After a group tour of this area, you will return to your hotel in Paracas. Overnight Paracas.

Day 3: Morning boat tour of Isla Ballastes Isles (in a group); tourist bus return to Lima and hotel (B)
Early morning transfer to the boat dock where you will board a boat for a tour of Isla Ballastes (group tour), and an opportunity to observe sea lions, pelicans, penguins, and possibly dolphins. After lunch on your own, the tourist bus will take us back to Lima, and transfer to your hotel.
