Chilean wine is world renowned and a treat that must be experienced during your visit to Santiago. On this tour you will visit notable sites in Santiago then spend two days discovering two of Chile's wine growing regions.

The quality of Chilean wine owes much to the efforts of the country's winegrowers who took great pains in caring for French grape varieties and adapting them to Chile's excellent terroir.

Day 1: Arrival then a tour of Santiago

Reception at the airport and transfer to the Hotel. In the afternoon depart for a city tour of Santiago. We will begin our tour at the San Francisco Church, built between 1572 and 1618. We pass the Palacio de la Moneda, the current seat of Chilean government. Then we visit the Plaza de Armas, where we will see the Cathedral Church, the Main Post Office, and the The City Hall. Our trip continues to the Cerro Santa Lucia (the Santa Lucia Hill), the location where the city was founded in 1541. Crossing over the Mapocho river and passing through different residential districts gives us an overview of the city. Return to the hotel in Santiago and overnight.

Day 2: Tour of Vina Concha y Toro (B)

The morning half-day tour begins with a visit to one of the most renowned vineyards located in Pirque, Vina Concha y Toro. Located southeast from Santiago, you will stroll through the wine cellars and sample the quality wines produced from this vineyard. Afterward we return to Santiago for the afternoon.

Day 3: Wine tour of the Maipo Valley (B)

Today we depart on a tour visiting two vineyards (Undurraga and Cousio Macul wineries) located in the Maipo Valley, South of Santiago. We will discover the art of wine making and be invited to taste some of the regions excellent wines. Following these visits we return to Santiago.

Day 4: Departure (B)

After breakfast you are free to explore Santiago further or transfer to the airport to experience other spectacular areas of Chile.
