The Masai Mara stretches out over a flat grassy plain and is most famous for its annual migration of millions of wildebeest. The best time to see the migration is generally July through early November.

Day 1: 6-DAY KENYA SAFARI / Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli (LD)

Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve near the Tanzania border. Picnic lunch en route, check in at lodging, and proceed for an afternoon game drive which provides a chance to see elephants, lions, and many other plains game. NOTE: This can be a 5+ hour drive.
