Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Nairobi, transfer to hotel
You will be met at the Nairobi Airport and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
An international cosmopolitan city, Nairobi is a place of trendy cafes, leafy suburbs and glistening skyscrapers. It is also home to the only national park in the world that borders a city. An African metropolis abuzz with a rich cultural history, Nairobi is the East African hub for finance, technology and innovation.
Tucked away in the leafy suburb of Karen with views of the famed Ngong Hills, a stay at Hemingways is a grand and indulgent affair. Luxury suites with private terraces enjoy full butler-service, and a brasserie and restaurant serve up world-class cuisine. Hemingways is located conveniently close to the Giraffe Centre and Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage should a visit be possible during your stay.

Day 2: Fly to Amboseli, afternoon game drive (BLD)
You will transfer to the Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli National Park where you will drive to your safari camp for lunch and evening game drive.
Amboseli's expansive semi-arid grasslands are framed by the spectacular backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain. The number two wildlife destination in Kenya, Amboseli is home to one of Africa's most well-known elephant populations that numbers over 1500 individuals. A mosaic of swamps provides a source of water all year round, sustaining a tremendous variety of birdlife and game for exceptional viewing.
Beneath the shade of the Acacia Tortilis trees from which it takes its name, Tortilis Camp occupies a hillside that offers magnificent views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Makuti thatched roofs shelter spacious ensuite tents, and a chic main bar and lounge created with natural materials overlooks a watering hole frequented by elephants. Situated in a private conservancy bordering the National Park, guests can enjoy exciting bush walks ending with drinks enjoyed watching a stunning African sunset.

Day 4: Fly to Meru, afternoon game drive (BLD)
A wilderness idyll of striking colours, Meru is a dramatic arid landscape sustained by 13 permanent and seasonal rivers. Doum palms and baobabs dot the rugged red-earthed environment, home to an abundance of game, including unique northern species like gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich. A 21,000 acre rhino sanctuary in the heart of the park provides a rare opportunity to take in the Big 5 in this wild, remote and beautiful area.
Elsa's Kopje blends African elegance and romance in the wild setting of Meru National Park. Named after Elsa the lioness made famous by Born Free, the autobiographical story and movie of George and Joy Adamson, the lodge is nestled into a rocky kopje. A refuge of luxury in a rugged environment, the charming cottage suites are built around the natural features of the kopje, each enjoying unique breath-taking views over the sweeping Meru plains.
