Full Itinerary
Day 1: 8-DAY KENYA SAFARI / Drive from Nairobi to Aberdares, afternoon game drive (LD)
Depart Nairobi for the Aberdare National Park while viewing the beautiful surroundings as you pass through the Kikuyu Community Farmlands. After arrival, check into the Tree Hotel for lunch. Here you will spend the better part of the afternoon viewing animals from the balcony of the Lodge. The Lodge has been built in front of water holes that contain minerals and salts that the animals come to lick. At night, the activity of the animals is intensified, and you are able to view them with the help of powerful lights overlooking the waterholes. Camping safaris would skip Aberdares and go right to Samburu.

Day 2: Drive to Samburu, afternoon game drive (BLD)
Depart Tree Hotel for Samburu via the scenic surroundings of the Mount Kenya area. Check into your accommodations for lunch. Affter a brief relaxation time, proceed for an evening game drive in search of lions, elephants, gerenuk, grevy's zebra, onyx, the reticulated giraffe, and other plains game.

Day 3: Game drives in Samburu (BLD)
Early morning game drives, return to your lodging for breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy another game drive, returning for lunch. Relaxation mid-day, followed by an evening game drive. Camping safaris would continue to Lake Baringo, which is a fresh water lake with a great variety of birds as well as hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4: Drive to Lake Nakuru, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Depart after breakfast past the northern tip of the Aberdare Mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located. Lake Nakuru is home to thousands of flamingoes, buffalo, lions, zebra, giraffe, and many bird species. After lunch, proceed for an evening game drive.

Day 5: Drive to Masai Mara, afternoon game drive (BLD)
After breakfast, rive to Masai Mara with a stop for picnic lunch. On arrival, you enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of black maned lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhino, and other game.

Day 6: Masai Mara game drive (BLD)
A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The Masai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game, black maned lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephants. For an extra cost, you can visit a local Maasai village or enjoy a hot air balloon safari early in the morning.

Day 7: Game drives in the Masai Mara (BLD)
