Peru Visa
The information above is for informational purposes only. All travelers should check to see if entry requirements and fees have changed.
Getting a Visa
Peru requires a valid passport issued by the traveler’s country of residence. The traveler must also hold proof of return, or onward journey. The entrance permits for foreigners are valid for a period of up to 90 days without a visa.
Citizens of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia do not require Visas to enter Peru as tourists – only valid passports (valid for 6 months beyond travel dates).
Check with your local embassy for the most recent information.
Entry Requirements
- Your passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay.
- You must have tickets and documents for return or onward travel.
- We recommend at least 2 blank pages in your passport per country visited.
