4-Day Chitwan National Park
Chitwan is an excellent national park where you can go on safari and see rare Asian rhinos, visit a crocodile sanctuary, and ride in a dugout canoe.
You can fly in and out, or drive 4-5 hours one-way in a private car or bus. A 3-hour river raft excursion from Charaudi to Kurintar can be added on the drive to the national park for an additional cost.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: 4-DAY CHITWAN / Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan (LD)
You will drive or fly to Chitwan National Park in the southern Nepal (priced separately).
If you drive, a private van will pick you up in Kathmandu for the 6-hour journey. The van will drop you off in the last village before the park where a jeep takes you to your hotel for lunch.
If you fly, you will be picked up at the Bharatpur Airport and transferred to the lodge.
In the afternoon you will go on a guided tour of the resort surroundings.

Day 2: Full day of jungle activities (BLD)
After breakfast you will ride on an elephant into the jungle, looking for rhinoceroses, Bengal tigers, gazelles, monkeys, and other animals. In the afternoon you go on a trip in a dugout bark canoe, gliding gently along the river near the resort to witness crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Full day of jungle activities (BLD)
Today involves a full day of jungle activities, including a hike to the crocodile sanctuary and bird watching.
