Home to a variety of wildlife, the Masai Mara is one reserve where you can see the "Big Five" in a single morning. The Masai Mara stretches out over a flat grassy plain and is most famous for its annual migration of millions of wildebeest. The best time to see the migration is generally July through early November.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: 6-DAY KENYA SAFARI / Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli (LD)
Depart Nairobi for Amboseli game reserve near the Tanzania border. Picnic lunch en route, check in at lodging, and proceed for an afternoon game drive which provides a chance to see elephants, lions, and many other plains game. NOTE: This can be a 5+ hour drive.

Day 2: Amboseli, morning and afternoon game drives (BLD)
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Day 4: Drive to Masai Mara, afternoon game drive (BLD)

Day 5: Masai Mara, full day game drive (BLD)
A full day is spent game viewing across the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. For an extra cost, you can visit a local Maasai village or enjoy a hot air balloon safari early in the morning.
