Dear Gretchen
I would like to enquire about prices for hiking the W-trek. Are the nighttime accommodations private rooms or communal dormitories? We would prefer a private room if possible.
Then, in addition to the W-trek, we would like to stay a few nights at Eco Camp to explore by bicycle etc.
I would sincerely appreciate your assistance.
Rene,
Great question!
If you want to do the full W Trek, you need at least 2 nights at a refugio (dorm) or camping. You can also do a shorter option, but you will still need at least 1 night refugio/camping.
Alternatively, you can stay at EcoCamp, or another lodge, and do day trips, which would include 2 or 3 of the arms of the “W”.
I will email you more information!
