Today, we had a relaxed start 8:45 AM. The hike is 5 miles downhill and 3000 feet vertical over 4 hours.
There were lots of flowers, plants, and birds, including Andean Ibis, orchids, and huge yellow corn flowers.
Everyone wore long sleeves at first, but short sleeves and shorts after 1 hour.
We took a break at 11am (3 miles). 20 minutes with snacks with dog and pig.

Lunch:
We arrived at the lodge at 12:45pm. The cooks at the lodge made our BBQ lunch in hot rocks buried in the ground. 45 minutes later, they dug it up and lunch was served!
- Potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, tubers, plantains, chicken, lamb, pork, Guinea pig, fava beans
- 6 sauces
- Mushroom ceviche
- Corn
- Veggies
- Black corn juice
- Dessert of black corn pudding

Pisco Sour Making:
Tonight was a celebration of Pisco making. Followed by fun photos with the traditional masks!

Upon arrival at the lodge, hiking poles are gathered outside and hiking boots are left in the lobby.
